Howler’s Head
At the ‘Coming of Time’ two moons meet, face to face and …one sings to the other, “let’s howl!”
The howl of the head sounds the debut play, ‘Shedding’, for Luka Anderson and Maya Sollier’s Theatre Company, Howler’s Head.
Luka Anderson combines his interest and explorations in music, acting, physical theatre, poetry and the absurd. Training as a Martial Artist has given him expression in movement, form and the desire to push the physical body. “Theatre has no limitations, it possesses infinite possibilities and the true sense of creative freedom” – Luka Anderson.
“Storytelling has always been a part of my work. The art of conjuring up characters and their worlds is a pure delight. As a visual artist, the first stage exists in drawing, which is then transformed three-dimensionally with mostly found objects and materials. I am a maker… however I am also a performer as the characters have a habit of possessing my body and coming to life in unique rituals, which I facilitate, as my dancing feet are naturally that way inclined. Whether it be to make a gallery out of the streets, a stage out of the alleys.” – Maya Sollier.
Together we wish to bring our stories and ideas to the people in whatever creative form they may encompass.

His God fearing Greek parents are proud as can be as they are under the impression their son is running a legitimate Book Shop.
