Since 1984, Independent Theatre has been enthralling Adelaide audiences with top quality theatre of strong dramatic significance from Greek tradegies to Australian and world premieres of brand new plays under the Artistic Director, Rob Croser. Previous productions have included Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca, George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and the award winning Cry, the Beloved Country. Independent Theatre's 2007 Season includes: The Shape of Things by Neil LaBute, directed by Rob Croser To Kill a Mockingbird Adapted from Harper Lee's novel by Christopher Sergel directed by Rob Croser Doctor Zhivago Adapted from Boris Pasternak's novel by Rob Croser directed by Rob Croser
