Company information
Previously operating under the name of WA Stage School, Mesh received the Brian Maddox Youth Award at the recent Finley Awards for it's 2007 production of "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying". Previous productions staged by Mesh include "A Chorusline" (2006), "My Fair Lady" (2004) and their critically acclaimed performance of "Singin' In The Rain" at The Playhouse Theatre in 2005.
Paul Litwin and Renae O'Neill, along with a host of eager and talented young WA performers, have been successful in producing top quality shows in a fun-filled, yet professional environment. Their aim is to provide ample opportunities for the youth of WA to showcase their talents.
Quite a number of the existing Mesh members have participated in at least 2 of the 4 productions staged by Mesh, an indication of the enjoyment, proficiency and success to be gained from being a part of this theatre group. Opportunities are also offered to youth who are interested in set design and construction, direction, choreography, costume design, lighting design, stage management and many other facets of theatre.
One thing you should know for sure - if you love music theatre and love having fun, then Mesh is definitely the place for you!
