Mesh Theatre (WA Youth Musical Theatre Company)

Address
Unit 1, 388 Victoria Road
Malaga 6090

Company information
Previously operating under the name of WA Stage School, Mesh received the Brian Maddox Youth Award at the recent Finley Awards for it's 2007 production of "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying". Previous productions staged by Mesh include "A Chorusline" (2006), "My Fair Lady" (2004) and their critically acclaimed performance of "Singin' In The Rain" at The Playhouse Theatre in 2005.

Paul Litwin and Renae O'Neill, along with a host of eager and talented young WA performers, have been successful in producing top quality shows in a fun-filled, yet professional environment. Their aim is to provide ample opportunities for the youth of WA to showcase their talents.

Quite a number of the existing Mesh members have participated in at least 2 of the 4 productions staged by Mesh, an indication of the enjoyment, proficiency and success to be gained from being a part of this theatre group. Opportunities are also offered to youth who are interested in set design and construction, direction, choreography, costume design, lighting design, stage management and many other facets of theatre.

One thing you should know for sure - if you love music theatre and love having fun, then Mesh is definitely the place for you!

The moderation of the above post is an example of the stupid censorship that we are beginning to endure on this site. The post is harmless just an opinion and it's moderation occurred because we allow it to and because we allow bullies to shut us up.

Wow, somebodt is thin skinned. First of all can't stand the thought that someone out there doesn't think they are the best and then gets upset because they are criticised for being over sensetive

This sort of moderstion is exactly whet Daniel Kershaw et al are talking about.
You simply show your own immaturity and the truth of the criticism by doing this.

My last post lasted less than 20 minutes. How long will the children let this one stand.

So is this company going to get slammed for their ticket prices to an amateur show? They should.

I think they should be slammed (or rather 'Noonie' slammed) for spamming the forums. We got the point - no need to post a zillion times.

Noonie,

Why not create an account on this site and start your own thread regarding whatever this show is.

Most people will just ignore your posts if you continue to SHOUT and will moderate them down so they disappear.

Also don't post them on other people's threads regarding their own shows as it is impolite...

Just a bit of advice...

Please stop shouting.
And stop posting on unrelated threads.

I wasn't going to post because maybe it isn't the smartest thing for "someone in the show" to keep adding to this particular thread... but, here I go anyway...

I love the cast and crew of "All of Shook Up", we are working hard to put on the best show that we can (as I'm sure you can all imagine!) and we do have an amazing band and a talented cast... We are all extremely excited about getting out there and showing everyone what we can do and, in my honest opinion I think that "noonie" was just being as enthusiastic on the keyboard as I'm sure they are in rehearsals!

I'm sure that the moderating down of certain posts wasn't meant as something mean-spirited but possibly more as an act meaning to defend the company... I understand where "Na" and "Logos" are coming from in regards to moderation of posts just as I hope that you understand that when people do put so much time and effort into something we can become more than a little sensitive... I'm certainly guilty of that!

Anyway, if you can make it along to see the show, I along with the rest of the cast, would love to see you there!

I have NOT moderated any posts written by Noonie. I have just replied and asked for the person to be a little more respectful when promoting their/your show.

I moderated one of Noonie's posts on a completely unrelated thread. I might not have if the person had not shouted so much. (Unrelieved capitals is shouting.)
