Company information
Perth's PAC SCREEN WORKSHOPS start a new series soon. As many may already know these are advanced workshops which bring together actors, directors and writers to create screen drama together.
Many 'graduates' of PAC Screen Workshops have gone on to work professionally in the industry. They have been going strong since 1994 and have a huge following filling every series through word of mouth, with little or no paid advertising.

Co-ordinated by casting director/ lecturer Annie Murtagh-Monks, with industry guest tutors including director Adrian Holmes, Mark DeFriest, James Bogel and actors Bill McClusky, Tamara Cook and Ali Roberts.
PAC SCREEN WORKSHOP 1 (SWS1) is the initial 6 week series which gives participants a practical grounding in applying Stanislavski to screen and runs Tuesday evenings 7.30pm -10pm commencing every 6 weeks. PAC SCREEN WORKSHOP 2 (SWS2) is a further advanced follow-on on Thursday nights 7.30-10pm commencing every 6 weeks and completion of SWS1 is a prerequisite to enrolling in this. Theme for this series of SWS2 is changed every 6 weeks.

Course fee is still one of the lowest for an advanced film course in Australia at $225 inclusive for an 8 week course. Those interested can find out more and enrol via our website.

Philip Barry

Joy Sweeney

After getting a divorce from C.K. Dexter Haven, Tracy Lord prepares to marry again… however, in the days before her wedding, Haven and a reporter, posing as her brother’s friend, show up at her doorstep. From there, Tracy is forced to choose among her past love, her present love and her new love. Amidst the situation comedy, and fast-paced dialogue, Barry explores several contemporary social issues, such as society’s perception of class differences in America and attitudes towards adultery and divorce in the 1930’s.
