Company information
Playback Theatre is a form of improvisational theatre where moments, experiences and stories from audience members are played back live to the gathering. Perth Playback Theatre Company has been operating for 30 years and is one of the most established playback theatre companies in the world. A typical performance will consist of 4 actors, a musician and a “conductor” who acts as MC for the event. Each performance has a central theme, usually developed in partnership with the associated host organisation, and the experiences and stories offered can create their own narrative thread of understanding and reflection for those in attendance. We also hope that each performance encourages more stories to be told, as we believe in the power of stories, especially in the form of drama and a shared group ritual, to better promote connection and understanding.

Hello Friends,
That is both Friends of Playback and Friends of Aletia
As a part of Perth Playback Theatre Company, I am inviting you to join us for one of our very rare public performances.  Our tradition is one of storytelling, of ritual, of improvisation, of sharing, of laughter and of tears.  We celebrate our audience and their life experiences, be they joyful, be they difficult, be they painful or downright hilarious.  We rely on the audience to help us to generate the performance - we need your stories to perform.  Have no fear, you will not be asked to act or improvise or do anything beyond your comfort zones. You govern your level of participation.  So, come and watch and listen or come and tell us a story.  Hoping to see you and/or your friends at:
6pm on Sunday 23rd May
Kidogo Arthouse in Freo
(Mews Road, Bathers Beach)
Entry is by Donation
Tea and Coffee will be provided
Warmest regards,
Aletia K Artemis

His God fearing Greek parents are proud as can be as they are under the impression their son is running a legitimate Book Shop.
