PLoT is the leading Tasmania University drama society catering for students of all levels of experience and interest. We provide the opportunity for students to participate in productions and have a good time in theatre. We produce two major productions a year, plus put on our annual season of one act Plays, which are the winning entries of our scriptwriting competition for students. We also produce a first year English Shakespeare reading and hold various social and workshop style events. Recent major productions include "The Merchant of Venice" and "Alice in Wonderland". Our home is the Studio Theatre at UTAS and we take our three produced student written one act plays to the Deloraine Drama Festival each year. We aim to provide fun and enjoyment, and also serve as a good foundation for people to go on and develop skills in theatre.
