Starlight Musical Theatre - co-produced the Qld premiere RENT in Apr-May 2006 to critical acclaim. Starlight then produces the 2006 hit Godspell and then the 2007 co-production with Turkis Box Delight "Witches of Eastwick" to great reviews. Starlight is a Pro-Am not-for-profit theatre qroup producing top quality productions, with great actors, in great theatres with a process that values the performance ensemble. Starlight Coop Theatre plans an incredible 8 play season in 2008.

Macbeth is a haunting tale of regicide, murder, witchcraft, demons and spirits. Unrelenting in its pace, violence and supernatural themes, it is regarded by many critics as Shakespeare's darkest tragedy. Director Garreth Bradshaw (WAYTCO's Life of Galileo, Upstart Theatre Company's Taming of the Shrew) says "I have no interest in creating a mediocre Macbeth. I want my audience to walk away having been truly frightened, shocked and deeply moved by the text...".
