The Actors Pulse is Australia’s only acting school specialising in the USA based Meisner Technique, an organic step by step approach to acting. Founded by Billy Milionis, personal student of the legendary master teacher Sanford Meisner, the classes are based on genuine first-hand and up-to-date knowledge of Meisner’s latest work and are designed to give beginning, intermediate and advanced acting students a solid base from which to work. Located in Sydney and only 100 metres from Redfern station, The Actors Pulse has developed actors who have gone on to work professionally both at national and international levels, some earning themselves major recognitions such as AFI awards and nominations. The school provides intensive classes in: Meisner, Screen Acting, Story & Script Analysis, Audition Skills, Voice & Dialect & Movement. The unique approach of our classes combines the techniques used for stage acting with the special considerations needed for film and television work. With a strong and basic foundation, an actor can confidently approach any material.
