Company information
A theatre company of excellence teaching young people and adults the works of William Shakespeare; the greatest dramatist who ever lived. Created in the Redland Shire, 32 kilometres south-east of Brisbane, Wit’n’Will Theatre Company seeks to create a theatre of excellence based in classical ideals and performs as the Elizabethans did; in love with poetry, music, dance and revelling in the mysteries of our existence. Wit’n’Will Theatre Company performs Shakespeare, generating opportunities for collaboration with teaching artists, actors, directors and young people of all backgrounds. Wit’n’Will Theatre Company provides, unique in the Australian context, in-depth classical training and performance methods. Our Theatre-In-Education program inspires younger generations of people to discover the resonance of Shakespeare's truths: the profound truths of what it is to be human.
