Hi Mark,

I'm moving to toowoomba and looking to get involved in acting.
I have limited acting experience in Darwin. Done a few workshops at TAFE in QLD and NT.
Am happy to do anything from back stage to whatever needs there are. I really love getting involved in the community.
Not sure if you have an acting group in Toowoomba?
I love to act, I was bottom in a Mid summer nights dream. What a blast! also a pussycat dancer in a gay bar in Darwin called Throb...
Any guidance you can give is greatly appreciated.

Hello Anna

Nice to hear you are coming to our lovely garden city. You would be most welcome as a member, to be involved as opportunities arise and be eligible for member priced tickets.

We pre-cast our major shows from our membership (via an offer system) for a year ahead, but we run single night one act plays for newer members to get a run on stage, before casting them into openings in major productions.

When you get to Toowoomba give me a call or pop by the theatre. There is usually someone doing something there - building sets or rehearsing etc.

Regards Mark

After getting a divorce from C.K. Dexter Haven, Tracy Lord prepares to marry again… however, in the days before her wedding, Haven and a reporter, posing as her brother’s friend, show up at her doorstep. From there, Tracy is forced to choose among her past love, her present love and her new love. Amidst the situation comedy, and fast-paced dialogue, Barry explores several contemporary social issues, such as society’s perception of class differences in America and attitudes towards adultery and divorce in the 1930’s.
