The brainchild of Joanne Williams, Garreth Bradshaw, and Michael Lamont, UPSTART THEATRE COMPANY AUSTRALIA was born in January 2008 when our three upstarters decided they wanted to do theatre their way. They decided it was about time Perth Theatre found itself on the international map. Thus, Upstart came into being.
The aim of UTC is simple: A good story, well told.
