Formed by Trent Baker and Michele Williams, Winterfall Theatre's first production is Shakespeare's As You Like It, set in 1980's Australia, where "all the world's a dance floor". Our first production is directed by Trent Baker, whose credits include The Melbourne Theatre Company, The Bell Shakespeare Company, The Malthouse Theatre, Red Stitch Theatre Company (where he was one of the original founding members)- to name just a few. The play features a young, dynamic cast with recent graduates from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts,The Victorian College of the Arts, The National Theatre School (Melbourne), The Central School of Speech and Drama (London) and The Globe Theatre, London. The show opens on 11th March and runs until 4th April. The company plans to do 4 shows per year and our longer term aim is to develop a permanent ensemble of actors.
