The Woodstock Players Inc. have been established since 1984 and have an excellent reputation as a local community theatre group delivering a high standard of theatre - classics, mysteries, farce, comedies, musical theatre, cabaret and cutting-edge drama - to the local Burwood community and many visitors from all over Sydney and further afield.

The Players present three full-length plays a year, usually using the Ballroom of the grand and historic Woodstock mansion (formerly the home of Thomas Penfold)and a musical (usually small and lesser-known). We are grateful for the support of Burwood Council.

We have a pool of experienced actors and directors, who share their talents with many theatregoers across Sydney - a number of our performers have gone on to professional theatrical careers. As well, we have a team of dedicated technicians and designers, whose boundless energy, creativity and innovation make it possible to continue to present quality theatre on a shoestring budget.
