Auditions (WA) Tales from the Toybox

As the club secretary is the keeper of the password for the audition section, I will sneak this in here. Sorry If I offend.

Toybox auditions

Date - Saturday AM- November 24th

Place - Acorn Theatre, Manning Ave Gosnells

Rehearsals will be twice a week (Wednesday Nights / Saturday Mornings) commencing after New Year.

Dates for show will be April School Holidays 2002 for 4 weekends, shows will be travelling to Kwinana, Kalamunda and DRPAC with a possible show in Binddon or Mundijong.

Synopsis

Raggedy Anne is feeling sad because her partner Andy is gone. All the other toys from the toybox rally around her to cheer her up with 2 acts of song and dance.

This show is not for the faint hearted. There is 12 songs with plenty of dancing.

Auditions open to adults.

The following parts can be played by either sex, but will have to be played as boys, all characters have to sing a solo.

Teddy bear - Must be prepared to wear bear suit

GI Joe -

Giggles the Clown -

Cowboy Dan -

Requirements

All people auditioning should prepare an uptempo song (1 verse with chorus) no music

Please wear shoes to dance in (dance sequence provided)

Script will be available on the day.

Tales from the toybox is written (debut) and directed(debut) by me to be performed for kids in the lower primary school bracket.
