SOURCERY

As anyone well aquainted with me should know, I'm not very eloquent, so I'll keep this short. I just want to voice my gratitude to Dan, Mel, Micheal & Micheal, Don, Kerry, etc etc etc for putting in the effort to make the show work while I sat scratching myself. I enjoyed doing this show immensely, and I'm sure others did too. I know if I'm still alive, I'll be auditioning for Blak Yak's next Pratchett play.

A great cast to work with, a very professional crew backstage, costumes so garishly coloured that we would have had to break laws to perform in sunlight, what more could I ask for? Well, a few icepacks and a fan perhaps, but that statement wasn't supposed to be subjected to close inspection.

Thanks for including me in such an enjoyable show, hope to work with all of you again soon.

The Theatre on Chester (Sydney) presents
The Servant of Two Masters

Written by Carlos Goldini. Re-Written by Nick Enright and Ron Blair.

Carla Moore

Goldoni is made grouse in this colourful and riotous comic masterpiece. Truffaldino doesn’t really think through the problems inherent in having two bosses – especially when they’re unaware of each other’s presence and desperate to get back into each other’s pants. Our hero reckons he’s found a way of increasing his coin and food income on his labour. Or, as he puts it: “two masters, two wages, two dinners – too right!”
