‘The Wives of Hemingway’ is presented by the multi-award winning, WA independent theatre companies, Side Pony Productions and Weeping Spoon Productions.
The first thing to realise is that this play has virtually nothing – or extremely little – to do with the actual Hemingway romances. Devised by Eden Falk, the zany script was developed and written by the director, cast and Wyatt Nixon Lloyd around Hemingway’s attitude to women and sex.
‘Minnie and Mona’ was written by Jeffrey Jay Fowler, winner of the 2012 Fringe World award for ‘Best Theatre Production’. Here, Jeffrey is helped by two other devisors, Gita Bezard, and Arielle Gray to produce this hilarious, but very dark comedy.

Behind the scenes of a show can be so full on and so much fun all at the same time. Sometimes what people see isn’t the full story.
We have some AMAZING people working on this show and already have about 50% of everything done. There are set designer, costume designer, SFX person, fight choreographer, stage manager, lighting tech and two awesomely fun directors, just to name a few.
