“The Kookaburra Kids” by Judith Prior.
A new musical theatre piece
for Youth Theatre, Primary or Middle Schools
Twenty-five speaking parts and chorus.
Some doubling possible.

I have fond memories of my excitement at being dressed as a tree for my very first school concert at five years of age. I thought at the time I had been given the important part because I was tall for my age but later ventures into stage productions confirmed the fact that as I really can’t act or sing..... and choreography is entirely beyond my comprehension, casting me as the tree was a brilliant choice by the school teacher director.

Fine Edge theatre company is still searching for interns for it's June season. Please see below for details on this wonderful opportunity.

Interns with Fine Edge get involved first-hand as they rehearse, perform and tour high-quality theatre-in-education shows throughout the state of WA. Our internships provide Christians who are passionate about drama the chance to learn and grow as an artist. We aim to resource and prepare young Christians to become skilled and professional artists, empowered to use their talents as a
way to impact their world. Our interns learn while performing to real audiences, doing valuable and professional ministry.
