‘Calendar Girls’ (CG) the play is based on a true story about a group of middle class, middle aged women in the provincial north of England who raise money for cancer research and treatment by producing a ‘nude’ calendar, featuring themselves – something along the lines of what the ‘fire-ies’ do here.

This show is completely booked out (ie all the seats have been sold) however cast members have reported that they still spot empty seats during performances. I myself saw 4 good seats in a row at curtain-call this afternoon.

Stirling Players (Perth) presents
A Country Retreat

Peter Flanigan

Peter Flanigan

Peter describes 'A Country Retreat" as a comedy-drama with a few current social issues thrown in for good measure. Is it possible to “get away from it all”? Maybe…… maybe not. The play is set in a rural area of the South West WA and presents real characters in believable situations. A play for our time.
Bookings open April 8 through Morris News 9440 1040
Season runs from May 10 to May 25
All evening sessions start at 8pm. Matinees start at 2pm.
