‘Standing bird’ is an original concept by Sally Richardson. Produced by Performing Lines WA, it is being performed in the PICA Performance Space, James Street, Northbridge. The 45-minute spectacular starts at 9.30 pm each evening until Sunday 12th February (No show on Saturday 11th)

‘New Two’ is now in Week Two. Each week this 60-minute production, gives us two or three different, fresh short plays as part of Summer Nights 2012. They are presented at The Blue Room Theatre, 53 James Street, Northbridge. The Wednesday night line-up is repeated Friday at 8.00 pm, next week will see two more very different plays.

‘Laryngectomy: Parables and Homilies on the Freedom of Speech’ is the award winning show written by Joe Lui Shang Yu and Demelza Rogers. It has been revived in a brand new form for the ‘Summer Nights’ season by Renegade Productions. By booking through The Blue Room Theatre, or PICA, will to get you tickets for $5 less than the standard Fringe World prices.

UNKNOWN is a play about the struggle of 5 different identities who strive to live through the abominable social politics, disturbed global economy, complexities of religion and malleability of human relationships. In a life of toil, they question their existence only to find out that without these struggles they will have nothing to do in this world.
