It looks as though Acorn Theatre will be presenting it's 2010 seasons from the Gosnells RSL Hall in Gosnells. The hall is visable from the Albany Hwy and much better for new patrons to find us. We are waiting for the Gosnells council to have their August financial meeting so we can apply for funding for a stage and they are building us some storage for our flats etc. Acorn will lose it's Smallest Theatre Record but in today's financial doom and gloom we can now play to 50 people and hopefuly get some money in the bank to bankrole better known projects. This is a huge sigh of relief. So if you havn't seen the Smallest Theatre in the Southern Hemisphere don't leave it too late as there is only 3 productions left until the bulldozers move in.

Acorn Theatre was my first theatre which I joined when I first arrived in Australia. I thought the smallest theatre in the world would be interesting and certainly a challenging place to perform.
I joined a great group of people who had staged many performances over the years at Acorn and welcomed me with such warmth.
I had a fab time with the Acorn group and its sad to hear it is not going to be kept the same.
Performing in front of 28 people is quite an experience and one I will carry with me.

I didn't recognise you Andy, Storm Tossed Tales was perfromed whilst I was out of the theatre for a couple of years, I'll have to check out the old programs to see what it was like. Do you know if it was videoed?
