Punky Panda grooves it up at Maylands Waterland

City of Bayswater | 30/12/2009 - 19:37

A new groove in town comes to Maylands Waterland on January 10, ready to deliver a funky show for children of all ages.

Punky Panda and his pigtailed partners deliver innovative kids’ entertainment as they bust a move while performing catchy songs such as Do The Punky, Twist’n’Shake and Bamboo & Lollipops.

Performing between 11am and 3pm, The Punky Panda Show uses a combination of song and dance to deliver original music with a strong educational element.

Bouncy castles and pool inflatables will also be available on the day. Normal prices apply – $3.60 for adults and $2.90 for each child.

The City of Bayswater-owned facility has four shaded splash pools, water slide, waterfall and channel, a large water fountain, mini-golf course, shaded seating areas, barbecue for general use and a kiosk.

Maylands Waterland is located at 32 Clarkson Road, at the end of the peninsula, in Maylands.

For more details, call 9272 4456 or go to www.bayswater.wa.gov.au and click on “culture and leisure” and then “Maylands Waterland”.

Playlovers Inc. (Perth) auditions for
Cosi fan Tutte

W.A. Mozart and Lorenzo da Ponte.

Musical Director: David Hardie. Stage Director: Paul Treasure.

No, Playlovers is not doing a musical adaption of Tinto Brass's 1992 soft porn movie of the same name.  Playlovers is actually doing a classical opera. This is a fully staged production with orchestra and importantly sung in English.
