I Had a great chance today to attend a masterclass with the director Roger Hodgman.
I didn't know much about Roger apart from Blue Heelers and Holly's Heroes until I did an internet search.
I have attended many masterclasses over the years. Some good, some bad and some whatever.
Roger kept 20 of us, completely engrossed for the entire class. He did it in such a calm, relaxed manner. Yet churning out the most informative information and knowledge that even the most seasoned professionals appreciated.
This class I must say was thanks to Equity as they organised it. Roger Hodgman comes across as a very fine professional gentleman and I would only dream of the chance of being directed by him. I once was fortunate to be directed by Richard Attenborough who has the very same manner and style.
I dont know if he is doing anything else in Perth. So if any of you get the the chance to catch up with this man whilst he is in Perth I highly recommend it.
The chance of meeting these very special talented people dont come by too often.
Just had a great class and I thought I would share it with you.
