The Search for Australia’s Funniest Filmmakers begins on Rottnest Island, Western Australia.

The “Search for Australia’s Funniest Filmmakers” is a new and exciting addition to Rottofest aimed at stimulating comedy film production nationwide. The competition contains two categories for filmmakers to enter:

Funniest Skit – Up to 3 minutes in length. The first dedicated skit competition in Australia. (Prize TBA)

Funniest Film – Between 3 to 15 minutes in length. (Prize TBA)

Selected films will be showcased at Rottofest 2010 and also screened at the 9th Annual Bohemia Outdoor Film Festival in 2011. The entry form for filmmakers is available on www.rottofest.com.au
