The Street Theatre presents Jigsaw Theatre Company’s production of Flotsam and Jetsam written and directed by Greg Lissaman and performed by Chrissie Shaw. Get set to land on one of Australia's most isolated islands, following in the footsteps of children of the lighthouse. Through the eyes of the playful and adventurous Nikki and the windblown Mrs Ingram, young audiences experience the joys and hardships of living in such a remote place. Hold onto your hats! The garden is now a wasteland and the first man has returned to dust, his line departed. Only the detritus of creation remains. Yet in the midst of this a spark glows. From it, the first woman fashions new life – to bring comfort, where now there is only suffering – a companion, where now only death. But can the lives brought forth stand beside the first woman? Does she presume too much in copying the Creator? Will she repeat His mistake?
