To whom it may concern,

I am currently casting for a Swinburne University graduating piece which will be shot in Ballarat toward the end of August. The work is unpaid, but will be exhibited at Swinburne University and all involved will receive a DVD of the film for their showreel. The shoot will be catered. We are looking for:

WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH EVENT

Footsteps of a Nobody is a powerful one woman rock-musical written, directed and performed by Donna Williams, author of the international bestseller, Nobody Nowhere; Autobiography of an Autistic Girl and musically accompanied by The Aspinauts. Through characterisations, gestural signing, evocative spoken word and song it traces Donna’s pivotal experiences from a meaning deaf, meaning blind feral child to homelessness and on to her ultimate fight to claim a place of equality among others.

I'm 14, in my 9th year of high school and the only type of training I have is half a year of grade 7 drama - and in that we didn't do any work on screen acting, only theater performance.

My parents say I should go through high school first, and then choose screen acting as a uni course - but see, I want to start young, because the more experience you get when your young, the more likely you'll be able to get parts in bigger things when your older - or that's what people have been telling me.

Jimmy has it all: the fastest car on the road, his choice of beautiful women and a thriving drug dealing business in inner city Marrickville. He is handsome, charismatic and stylish…a 'role model' to many young men. His God fearing Greek parents are proud as can be as they are under the impression their son is running a legitimate Book Shop.
