The Riverina Theatre Company is Australias one of the oldest professional regional theatre companies servicing the Riverina region with theatre. It is a non-profit organisation funded by the Australia Council through the Theatre Board and the New South Wales Government through the Ministry for the Arts. The Company began as the Riverina Trucking Company in 1976 and in 1983 changed its name to the Riverina Theatre Company.
The RTC produces a season of four plays annually.
In 2001, the Riverina Theatre Company celebrated its 25th anniversary of presenting live theatre to Riverina audiences.
