Company information
The spectacular Mandurah Performing Arts Centre was a project initiated by the State Government in April 1994, with the official opening conducted by WA Premier Richard Court on 14 June 1997.
With the lobby overlooking the estuary and a showcase of unique artworks from local artists, the Centre boasts a world-class venue second to none in Western Australia.
The majestic Boardwalk Theatre has a seating capacity of 800, housing 550 in the stalls and 250 in the magnificent dress circle. The seating varies according with the option of using the 30 musician orchestra pit.
The Fishtrap Theatre is unique in that it isn't necessarily for performances only, it has been designed to suit any occasion such as seminars, functions, displays and receptions. The theatre is a blackbox studio space which contains raked retractable seating capable of catering up to 144 people.
