Company information
Bunbury Theatre began in 2000, as a back yard performance of Oscar Wildes classic comedy The Importance of Being Ernest by a devoted group of friends out for a bit of a laugh. The show proved quite popular and was followed up in 2001 with a season of Tom Stoppards The Real Inspector Hound.
Bunbury Theatre invites you to be a part of its new history. In a bold step out of the garden, Bunbury aims to lose none of its quirky uniqueness that it has established over the past two years and invites all of our audience back not only for a great night, but a great night shared with someone else.

Goldoni is made grouse in this colourful and riotous comic masterpiece. Truffaldino doesn’t really think through the problems inherent in having two bosses – especially when they’re unaware of each other’s presence and desperate to get back into each other’s pants. Our hero reckons he’s found a way of increasing his coin and food income on his labour. Or, as he puts it: “two masters, two wages, two dinners – too right!”
