Brisbane Multicultural Theatre founded by renowned Theatre Director Omar Pumar Romay, began with community skills development workshops sponsored by the Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) and subsequently developed a small work-in-progress multilingual theatre production "Strewth!" written by Rina Sani and performed in collaboration with visiting acclaimed actor/writer Pedro Lusz from Brazil. Specifically programmed workshops to develop performance skills are suitable for variety of age groups, for individuals, community groups and professional artists, for making connections, develop community spirit, and/or give focus to specific current social issues... Multicultural theatre at its best - for all ages, cultures, languages, all abilities...
