Company information
Trunkman Productions was set up in January of 2001 by Murdoch University screen graduate Trent Burton. It is based in the city of Fremantle, Western Australia. Initially the company worked filming weddings, local football matches and alike but soon expanded to producing short films. To date the company has produced over 10 shorts including the award winning 'The Game Show Girl.'

In 2003 Trunkman Productions was behind "Love on the Box," the first sitcom ever produced in Western Australia. The show was to be a national success and is currently available on DVD as a four disc box set.

It is run by owner/writer/director Trent Burton and producer/performer Melinda O’Garr. A number of the company’s projects and staff have received acclaim and awards including nominations for Love on the Box in the National Antenna Awards and Trent Burton being award Young West Australian of the year for his city on Australia Day of 2004.

Constantly active and looking for new projects Trunkman Productions is currently in pre-production for a new series, as well as working on a number of theatre based projects.
