"Leaving" by Don Woods and directed by Peter Kirkwood.

This fast moving, incisive, witty and very humourous black comedy addresses a number of contemporary issues that will be familiar to all of us - infidelity, desertion, age, illness, poverty and a Big Nose.

"In The Half" by Jimmy Chinn and directed by Stan Brannick.

A poignant comedy about an aging actress who, although retired, insists that the show must go on. The story is set in her Hammersmith, London apartment where she is attended by her dresser cum housekeeper. A surprise visit from her estranged daughter brings a set of circumstances she is not fully able to cope with.

"Nudes in Waning Light" by George Brockhill and directed by Nicola Bond.

A fast-moving comedy centering on the middle-class prejudices of Molly, a no-nonsense lady. In her absence, Walter, her hen-pecked husband, is led by an old friend, Harry, into a life of general debauchery - drinking, gambling and worse - to paint two nudes. The fact that one is a professional model and the other his wife's young domestic girl adds to the comic chaos. Eruptions occur when Molly unexpectedly arrives home - on exactly the same day that Walter and Harry paintings are returned from the local art contest.
