BABIES PROMS RETURN!

Yes, it's on again. The WA Youth Orchestra's hugely successful Babies Proms, now into their 18th year, return to the Boardwalk Theatre.

The WAYO Babies Proms are a wonderful introduction to the orchestra for young children from babies up to the age of ten.

The concerts, which feature an 80 piece symphony orchestra, professional conductor and compere, are highly interactive and great fun! Children learn how to conduct the orchestra, dance and move to the music, and join in all the activities as active concert participants. At the end of each concert, children are invited on to the stage to meet the players and 'have a go' on some of the instruments.

On the way, the children learn about the orchestra and its instruments, all to a backdrop of some of the world's great classical melodies.

Babies Proms performance lasts around 45 minutes.
