Wild and wacky bluegrass comedians the Sensitive New Age Cowpersons (SNACs) perform a fun-filled concert as the festival finale. Were talking about hot banjo picking, even hotter harmony singing and, well, not quite so hot bodies
SNACs - widely regarded as one of Australias top music/comedy groups - were formed in 1994 for a gig at the National Folk Festival in Canberra. Festival-goers were so impressed by its bluegrass-inspired lunacy that SNACs has played at all of the major country and folk festivals around Australia ever since. Its credits include shows alongside legends Slim Dusty, Keith Urban and Paul Kelly as well as a prestigious 2005 Golden Guitar nomination.
The line-up includes Calamity Jim Fisher (guitar), Ian Kid Simpson (banjo), Stan Pede (Fred Kuhnl on double bass), and Doc Adams (Adam Gare on mandolin).
