AUDITIONS FOR
WORK IN PROGRESS
WMTC Inc - formerly known as Williamstown Light Opera Company the oldest amateur theatre company in Melbourne is back and bigger than ever. After a very long break from the theatre community due to upgrades and renovations of our facilities, we are proud to announce our first production for 2006 Work In Progress. The show will be a concert for our 50th Anniversary and official company launch scheduled for the start of April 2006 coinciding with the Williamstown Festival. The concert will consist of songs from new musicals, previous company productions and future productions of the company.
We are looking for: Singers who can dance/ move and Dancers who can sing.

Audition Requirements/ Information:
· Auditions will take place on Friday 20th January & Saturday 21st January
· Auditionees are to prepare two songs (dancers one song only). Preferably one song chosen from the WMTC past show repertoire available on our website www.wmtc.org.au and one song from your own repertoire.
· Auditionees must be over the age of 18.
· The first rehearsal will be held on Monday 6th February at 7.30pm
· Rehearsals will take place on Monday, Wednesday & Sunday Evenings.

Show dates are as follows:
Friday 31st March at 8.00pm (Opening Night Gala/ Company Launch)
Saturday 1st April at 2.00pm
Saturday 1st April at 7.00pm (followed by fireworks)
Sunday 2nd April at 3.00pm
