Romeo & Juliet: love at the crossroads.

Juliet is a young Asian Australian girl growing up in a world of conflicting cultures and points of view. Romeo, a young Anglo Australian, oblivious to the consequences his passion will unleash.

Shakespeare's classic is a modern tragedy set in Northbridge where the racial, linguistic and cultural divide threatens to tear apart a family, a community and two young lovers.

Is dramatic history fated to repeat itself? Will these two young lovers forge a peace between the warring factions?

FREE TICKETS

Performance on Sunday 8th July is a free presentation to the public. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

Experienced director Grant Malcolm's Romeo and Juliet takes on the guise of our own contemporary Northbridge where the Anglo Australian Montagues and the Asian Australian Capulets tentatively co-exist against an increasingly racially charged backdrop.

Tai O'Reilly  and Tracy George star as the ill-fated lovers, with prominent Perth actor, Geoff Kelso, as Friar Lawrence.
