Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is proud to announce that Hats Off - a fundraising concert with a difference will return to Sydney on Sunday 11 November 2001 for one night only.
Hats Off is a gala benefit to raise money for charities that reach out to people whose lives are affected by AIDS related complications.
Proceeds from this years Sydney concert will go to the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation and the Actors Benevolent Fund.
Each year Australias most celebrated performers and personalities offer their time and talent by appearing in a unique evening of entertainment.
Among the participants in this years Sydney concert are stars of The Wizard of Oz, Man of La Mancha, Annie, Always Patsy Cline, Shout, Les Miserable, Phantom of the Opera, Big Brother, Drama School and many, many more, all in one spectacular night at the theatre.
Hats Off will be held in the Star City Showroom at 8pm on Sunday 11 November and will pay special tribute to the song writing genius of Stephen Sondheim and Stephen Schwartz who, between them, have created shows such as Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Follies, Into the Woods, Godspell, Pippin, The Bakers Wife and the Prince of Egypt, to name a few.
