Perth Theatre Company presents:

The Return

On a stifling hot night, the close confines of a suburban Perth train become a bitter, psychological battleground when two thugs turn on a handful of commuters.

This pressure cooker situation threatens to explode as they get closer to their Fremantle destination. But by journey?s end, the line between aggressor and victim has become blurred. Just who is terrorising whom?

Fresh from its Sydney debut at Griffin Theatre in 2001, Jeremy Sims directs this critically acclaimed production by WA writer Reg Cribb. It was described as ?the best Australian debut since David Williamson?s The Removalists?.

The Return is a play about the times we live in, in the city we live in.
