Creative Movement Workshop

with Annie Stainer

This is a movement workshop targetted at actors. Annie Stainer is a renowned performer, dancer and teacher who has toured and taught around the world. Annie was the head of Movement at the WA Academy of Performing Arts for six years. She now runs TOTAL Theatre in Perth offering an intensive one year performance-based course in Theatre Arts.

With the generous assistance of the Independent Theatre Association and the state government through Community Arts Network WA the monthly GRADS GREENROOMs are FREE and open to anyone with a passion for the performing arts.

The Graduate Dramatic Society (GRADS) originated in 1953 at the University of Western Australia. The Sunken Garden at UWA, a theatre created from a sandpit, was in 1948 the venue for a season of Oedipus Rex which earned the plaudits of Laurence Oli
