AN ADVENTURE IN TIME AND GARDENING POSSIBILITIES . . .

London, 1888. Women are murdered in dark backstreets. A strange Alien is on the loose. A Bounty Hunter is on its trail. An Exiled Time Lord is conducting bizarre plant experiments. There are powerplays amongst local crime figures. The Police are baffled. And the Doctor just dropped in for a chat and a cup of tea . . .

DOCTOR WHO : HELLBLOSSOM is an original Doctor Who production, first performed by Britain's Battered Suitcase Theatre Co.

The foggy streets of Whitechapel are awash in blood and terror as strange murders are taking place. Inspector Potts of Scotland Yard enlists the help of respected scientist Professor Gardener, who is not only an exiled Time Lord, but someone who seems more involved in the mystery than he is letting on. He has created a Human/Krinoid Hybrid - the Hellblossom - which has escaped and found refuge in a travelling freak show.

Into all this intrigue blunders the Doctor, with his Valkyrie Warrior companion, Sha'atara, who finds all the danger rather . . exciting. Meeting an assortment of period characters, the mystery only deepens, until the inevitable face to face showdown with the Alien Monster , and the mastermind behind it all, who has a fiendish plan to replace Queen Victoria herself and rule the British Empire. Can the Doctor tie up all the loose ends, lay the matter to rest and still get that cup of tea he hoped for?

Saturday 23rd November is the Official 39th Anniversary of Dr Who's first screening in 1963. And yes, we ARE performing that night. Come along in a costume of any Dr Who Character for some extra fun and prizes.
