Presented as part of the City of South Perth Fiesta 2003 the play commences on January 17th and continues Thursay to Saturday until February 1st with one matinee on Sunday January 19th at 2 pm.
Frank and Frances decide to move to Queensland to escape the bleak southern climate, much to the consternation of their respective adult children. The forthright and commanding Frank and the gentle Frances have no sooner found their haven than Frank's mortality asserts itself. Set in the early seventies this beautiful play explores the mores and attitudes of the era however there is another dimension to this play, and that is, simply, that life is about renewal, growth and moving on.
