Based on the Discworld novel by comic fantasy writer Terry Pratchett, CARPE JUGULUM tells the tale of how vampires have arrived in the Kingdom of Lancre and how the Witches are unable to stop them from taking over. Granny Weatherwax is missing, so it is up to stalwarts Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick, plus newest member of the coven, Agnes Nitt, to do battle with the naughty invaders. But these are no ordinary vampires they are facing. They can go out during the day; garlic, crucifixes and holy water have no effect on them, and although they still need blood to survive, the Magpyre Clan is trying to get to grips with this strange beverage called "tea".
