Make-up artist needing help!

Hey all,
I'm a newly qualified Make-up artist in Melbourne. I Finished my Diploma of Make-up in July and I'm qualified to do a broad range of things, such as theatre and tv work, yet at the moment I am just doing bridal as that is the only work I can get... If someone is able to help me please let me know what you think I should do?? Smiling

Have you tried checking in the Stage Shop off Hindley Street? Tiffany who works there is one of the best makeup people in the biz and I am sure could at least give you a little advice or mentoring and who knows what may happen.

I know Red Queen Designs will be having interns for costume and makeup for film later this year since we are using them... Smiling

Try TAFE as a start. See where that gets you. They have courses in Make-up an hair and that may open doors.

Hi I am a fully qualified makeup artist looking for work experience in the Brisbane area. If any one is in need of a makeup artist or an assistant please let me know. I really want to get into the industry however I have few contacts. I am currently doing bridal makeup however theatre makeup is my first passion.

Can any body help me??
