Take one dreamy idealist, a doting father, twelve dancing wives, a troublemaking coat, eleven singing brothers and an unhealthy dose of sibling rivilary. Mix well. Add one goat. Toss in a wealthy husband and his scheming wife. Combine with a harem and one smoking seduction before bringing to the boil. Pour ingredients into a small jail cell and add a pinch of role characters. Empty the contents at the feet of one high and mighty Pharoah (who bears a striking resemblance to Elvis). Allow to cool. Sprinkle generously singers, dancers and a choir of children. Place in the hands of three sweet-voiced Narrators. Serve immediately to infinite numbers of enthusiastic theatre-goers!
Bon Appetit!
Matinees at 2:00 p.m. on Sun 25 Apr and Sat 1 May.
