Synopsis:

This short film tells the story of Dan a recently released prisoner and how he deals with the outside world, one that is alien but also all too familiar. Dan has had only one thing on his mind since he has been in gaol and that is to see his daughter Danni. He has no contact with Danni since her birth and now he thinks it time to get to know her. Upon his release he experiences the difficulties and hardships facing a man of his status in modern society. These include the looks of distrust from the people around, the difficulties in finding employment, living in a place that isn’t much better than prison, plus the fact that he is still unable to see his daughter. All this causes him to question whether or not he is better off on the outside. In the end Dan makes a decision that will change his life forever and one that reflects his attitude towards life in general.
