Film students (Curtin Uni, WA) seek 3 actors - 2 male; 1 female; for a deliciously dark and humorous film noir influenced short film.

1 MALE, 40s; world-weary detective – disillusioned, disaffected, cynical –
that Al Pacino INSOMNIA look.

1 MALE, 20s; keen, bright-eyed, idealistic, rookie.

1 FEMALE, 20s – 30s; femme fatale. Ability to look extremely dangerous in a slinky, figure-revealing red outfit.

This will be shot at night, using expressionist lighting – so physicality (silhouettes) and expressive eyes that we can capture in chinks of light very important. Film acting experience preferred. Performance we are looking for is pared back and natural in style.

You will first be required for a screen test next week.

Filming dates and times to be decided, but may do some filming over next weekend (12,13,14 October) and the rest on the following weekend (18,19,20 October).

Payment: Lots of coffee and a copy of the film for your show reel.
