$5 Ticket offer to NIDA play

Walter Plinge | 26/09/2003 - 05:45

NIDA is pleased to announce a special ticket offer to see a preview of the forthcoming NIDA production

ONCE IN A LIFETIME
by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman
directed by Tony Knight

in the NIDA Parade Theatre
on Wednesday 8 October 2003
at 8pm

In 1927 there was a revolution in the motion picture industry when the movies became "talkies." Jerry, May and George, three New York vaudeville actors, head for Hollywood to open a Voice and Elocution school, to teach silent film actors how to talk. First performed in the 1930s the play is an American classic, perhaps the greatest farce of the twentieth century.

This offer is made to members of the Theatre Australia forum, and their guests. A donation of $5 per seat allocated will be appreciated. All funds contribute to the NIDA student scholarship fund.

Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, and RSVPs are essential.

Please indicate your attendance to Jane Griffiths on (02) 9697 7600 or j_griffiths@nida.unsw.edu.au by Monday 6 October 2003.

With best wishes,
