Held at NIDA, Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art, Singer Dancer Actor is a one year part-time course which trains performers for music theatre. Now into its sixth year, this course has produced a number of graduates who have found employment in music theatre
productions such as Mama Mia, Shout and Hair.

The course is taught by specialists from the entertainment industry and covers the techniques of singing, dancing and acting, integrating these skills through practical music theatre projects.

Singer Dancer Actor is an outstanding opportunity for dedicated individuals who are keen to learn more about professional music theatre and work with other highly motivated participants. Course tuition fees apply.

Auditions are held in Sydney from the 8th November 2003. Applications are now open!

Keith Bain and Avigail Herman are the key tutors. Avigail is well-known as a music theatre performer and cabaret artist as well as a musical director and vocal coach.

Avigail says of the course: “The entertainment industry requires music theatre performers, who are multi-skilled. It makes you so much more employable. People applying for Singer Dancer Actor need to be highly committed to performing as this course requires a lot of hard work, yet it's a lot of fun. Every year the students don’t ever want to finish.”

So if you’re after a life long career as a performer, apply now to audition for the 2004 Singer Dancer Actor course. For an application form and further details:

Cosi fan Tutte

W.A. Mozart and Lorenzo da Ponte.

Musical Director: David Hardie. Stage Director: Paul Treasure.

No, Playlovers is not doing a musical adaption of Tinto Brass's 1992 soft porn movie of the same name.  Playlovers is actually doing a classical opera. This is a fully staged production with orchestra and importantly sung in English.
