Camera work requires a different set of skills to stage acting. The basics remain the same, but the techniques for performance are substantially different. This workshop, led by Salmac Productions' Creative Director, Sally McLean, has been created to give actors the chance to hone and practice their camera technique in a safe and supportive environment.
Taking a session with the students during the workshop as Guest Tutor will be well-known Melbourne actor/director, Michael Bishop ("Ghosts of the Civil Dead", "Malcolm", "Neighbours", "Blue Heelers", etc)
Students will be provided with a tape of their work at the conclusion of the day.

About the tutor:
A graduate of The Actor's Institute, London, Sally has played roles for Australian television on "The Flying Doctors", "Bingles", "The D-Generation", "Totally Full Frontal", "Neighbours", "Acropolis Now!", "Comedy Inc." and "Blue Heelers". Her UK television credits include "The Bookworm", "Poetry Nation" and most recently as "Angie Powers" in the BBC mini series "Bootleg".
