In 2005 The PACS Development Program will provide support to outstanding Performing Arts practitioners to develop and produce new work at the the Rechabites Hall in Northbridge.
The program provides Perth audiences with a continuous, innovative and eclectic program of original, live performance.
Selection Process:
Productions presented are selected through an application process with applications assessed on a seven-point scale for:
Artistic Merit, Suitability Planning, Experience and Innovation.
Applications are called for three times a year with successful applicants being offered either a two or three-week season at The Rechabites' Hall.
The PACS Development Program provides support to more than 20 productions each year and supports a year round program of activity.
In addition to obtaining a season in the PACS Development Program successful applicants also receive production, business and marketing support as well as access to free rehearsal space, technical and administration resources and a small production budget.
PACS receives an 11% commission (GST inc) on all Development Production door sales.
Applications for the program close on 12th March 2005.
If you would like to download an application form please go to www.pacs.org.au or to receive a form via post or for anymore information, contact Amber Hasler on 9227 7005.

Stage and Screen Academy teaches an 11am Stunts and Swordplay class on Saturday mornings in Camden NSW. Students from 12 years to adults of all ages are very welcome (no experience required, though martial artists, gymnasts and wrestlers would also enjoy this). Students learn how to safely perform theatrical and movie fight/ stunt scenes!
