Andy Fraser:
Andy is a fully qualified Fight Director and Stage Combat Instructor who has been living and working in Perth since 2001. He holds certification from both the Society of Australian Fight Directors Inc. (SAFDI) and the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC), and he is the SAFDI's West Australian Representative. Andy has choreographed fights for a variety of companies in Perth including Perth Theatre Company, Deckchair Theatre, Shakespeare In The Park, Class Act Theatre and Australian Opera Studio. He also regularly teaches at institutions such as W.A.A.P.A., Australian Opera Studio and Total Theatre Training. Andy was an instructor for Interact '02 and Interact '04.
Stephen Lee:
Stephen was born in London and graduated with honours in English and Drama from University College, London.
Stephen has worked extensively as a professional actor in both theatre and television (including a role in The Bill). Many of you will already know his work with Attic Theatre and has directed productions such as Taming of the Shrew, Noises Off and Othello (the last for Class Act Theatre), or may have seen him as Prospero in The Tempest at the New Fortune Theatre. Before moving to Australia four years ago, Stephen worked as an actor and director in London and also taught both Shakespeare and classical theatre in several drama schools there, including Lee Strasberg, The Method Studio and Italia Conti. He has directed well over fifty productions, including more than twenty Shakespeare plays.
Stephen founded the Lore Theatre, a company dedicated to performing dramatized versions of Chaucers Canterbury Tales, in the original Middle English, which toured schools and universities from 1988 to 1996. He also worked for some years with a professional improvisation troupe in London.
Craig Williams:
Craig has been acting professionally in Perth for 17 years. He is almost a permanent fixture with Barking Gecko Theatre Company as an actor, singer, musician, songwriter, circus gymnast, and scuba diver....but has also worked for most of the other theatre companies, notably Perth Theatre Company, and Cutsnake Comedy. He has toured many times nationally, and has performed in festivals throughout the USA & Canada, and in Japan, Korea, Singapore and Denmark.
He was made a WA Citizen of the Year in 1995, was twice nominated "best actor" at the Equity Guild Awards, can be heard on various radio commercials, and is infamous for almost never shutting up on the Theatre Australia website!
Craig hosted this years ITA Annual Finley Awards and recently appeared in the feature film The Bouncer, composed the music for Attic Theatre's 'As You Like It' and is the resident musician at the Big HOO HAA.
Cheers and see you at the ITA Headquarters This Saturday
